Suitable for uses other than the railway infrastructure. Good square edges, clean surfaces and excellent in appearance. Multitude of uses.
Grade 2 Softwood Sleepers
8’ 6” x 10” x 5” (2590mm x 250mm x 125mm)
Equally as robust as Grade 1 but not as aesthetically pleasing, a degree of defects on the surface, edges and the ends. Suitable for use as retaining walls and roadway diversions.
Grade 3 Softwood Sleepers
8’ 6” x 10” x 5” (2590mm x 250mm x 125mm)
Substantially defected with major cracks and badly split ends, decay may be present. Suitable for use for hard standing for porta cabins, materials etc. especially where cost is paramount.

Dark Brown Tanalith and Green Tanalith 8’ x 8” x 4” (2400 x 200mm x 100mm) A smaller and lighter sleeper, allows 1 person to handle the sleeper. Suitable for all uses, clean and square edged. European Communities Ruling does not apply.
New French Oak Railway Sleepers
8’ 6” x 10” x 5” 2 Metre Ideal for all uses by local councils, playgrounds, garden furniture and may be safely used internally.

AUSTRALIAN JARRAH SLEEPERS (CREOSOTE FREE) GRADE 1, 2 & 3
These are untreated Redwood sleepers made of seasoned hardwood and are the best of both worlds in sleeper uses. They are full of character and have an olde worlde look. They are totally safe for uses internally and externally.
